Cushion Covers and Throws
Our Cushion Covers and Throws are a unique collection of hand-crafted pieces created by Artisans. We buy our Cushion Covers and Throws from an international supplier whose products are ethically and responsibly sourced from culture-rich parts of India. They are a Celebration of indigenous crafts, and are a harmonious blend of culture, history, and artistry.
The artisans use skills and techniques that have been passed down for generations. Using vintage stitches and needlework, the artisans create stunning motifs and patterns. Hand weaving requires perfect rhythm and coordination and has been around in India for over 2000 years.
Every handmade product is unique and therefore, there may be minor variations in the appearance, pattern, colour, and texture. This is all part of the hand-crafted charm.
Our Cushion Inserts are made in Australia by ‘Innergreen’, an Australian manufacturer of sustainable eco-friendly products. The fibres are non-allergenic and antibacterial. There are two options of cushion inserts: a recycled PET insert (a type of plastic used to produce soft drink and water bottles) or a feather insert.
Funky Done is a small family operated e-commerce business that is just starting out. We are based in Melbourne/Naarm, Victoria. Our hopes are to grow in the variety of hand-crafted goods that we can offer. Our aim is to find home products from across the world, that are responsibly and ethically sourced.
We will, wherever possible, use recycled products for packaging and posting our goods therefore minimising our footprint and doing a bit for Mother Nature.
